Book 4 The Cold Between - Chapter 4 , 5 & 6 Summary

Lessa nags F'lar about the tapestry. It should be on the wall in Ruatha where it belongs. Fandarel sends word that he would like to come and show his flamethrower. F'lar agrees that Lessa can return the tapestry to Ruatha. She flies with it strapped to Ramoth's back. F'lar watches her depart over the Star Stone as R'gul reports a train carrying Firestone entering the tunnel. Business keeps F'lar busy throughout the day. Fandarel demonstrates his flamethrower. It doesn't actually "throw" the flame very well. R'gul reports that F'nor has been looking for him twice. By the evening meal, F'lar gets concerned for Lessa. He sends to Ruatha and learns she did bring the tapestry and studied it for hours. When she disappeared in the sky over Ruatha, everyone thought she had returned...
