Summary

At the beginning of Chapter 25, Trump wins the USA 2016 Presidential Election. Flora, in a state of despair, returns to D.C., breaks her relationship off with Aaron, and spends the day with Bull in bed. Bull attends an afternoon campaign event mourning Clinton’s loss amongst many tearful Democrats. Flora tells Bull that she missed her period after they had unprotected sex. Together, they find out that Flora is pregnant, and Bull withholds the fact that he is infertile, allowing him to assume her infidelity. However, he pretends to believe the baby is his and invites her to move in with him.

Bull meets up with his friend Jennifer for a drink and shares the news about the pregnancy. He gets a part-time job teaching at Georgetown University. Flora boycotts Trump’s inauguration but attends the Women’s March the following day with her...
