Chapter 7 Summary

In addition to Quayle, Morris's father David Althaus and an attorney named Bernard Fromm show up. Wolfe tells the gathering that he intends to prove an FBI agent killed Morris Althaus to get back at both the FBI and the New York police. Yarmack admits that he thought Morris had research on the FBI in his possession, but nothing was found at his home. Yarmack suspects the FBI because of it.
