Plot Summary

Don't Look Behind You tells the story of one family's entry into a witness protection program and the inherent inner and outer conflicts that result. Told from the perspective of 17-year old April Corrigan, the family faces increasing danger while coping with a growing loss of personal identity. A hitman named Mike Vamp is after April's father, because he is a witness in a drug smuggling court case. April grows more and more despondent with the growing realization she can never return to her hometown of Norwood, Virginia and the things she loves most - her boyfriend, house, friends, and the tennis team. She has no control over her new life in Grove City, Florida, until her father gives her money from the sale of her bedroom furniture. She returns to Norwood to live with her.....
