Chapter 14 Summary

April explains everything that happened to Steve without giving away actual locations. Steve shares his side of the story from the day he discovered her house locked up and then not seeing her at prom and his graduation and wondering what ever became of her. April mentions her letter that informed him she wouldn't make graduation, but he says he never received it. April rationalizes why the letter never got delivered though darker thoughts cross her mind, which come to fruition later in the story. The conversation changes to Sherry. When pushed, Steve admits that they spent a lot of time together wondering what happened to April, and once the Corrigan's house was put up for sale, he assumed she would never be returning and started dating Sherry. He assures her that both.....
