Chapter 12 Summary

The next day, April's parents notice she had been crying and she admits to having seen Jodi at Disneyland and finding out that Sherry and Steve have been dating. Liz is understanding and caring, while George is rather cold, saying "there are many more fish in the sea." This leads to an argument between April's parents. A phone call from Larry interrupts the fight. He is angry that April did not return his calls and once he finds out she went to Disneyland with her family, he is still very arrogant and unpleasant, saying that he excepts a girl to pick up the phone when he calls, no matter what. April is so incensed that she hangs up on him. Still devastated about discovering that Sherry and Steve are dating, April wallows in.....
