Chapter 10 Summary

April lies to Abby, saying she must be mistaken as she was never on the flight. Abby is insistent that they met but April explains that she is from North Carolina and has never been to Virginia. Larry stops the argument and they go to the movie theater. The crowd is mostly teenagers, all of whom seem to know Kim and Larry. Once in the theater, Larry and April end up a few seats behind Abby and Kim. Suddenly she is self-conscious of looking like a couple. A vampire movie is playing, which she loathes, as she was terrified of the movie Salem's Lot as a child. In a moment of on-screen terror, Larry protectively wraps his arm around April. She puts up with the discomfort for ten minutes, but when he starts.....
