Chapter 9 Summary

Tom Geist shares ways in which the Corrigans can blend into the community and avoid drawing attention, especially in a small town where people gossip. He tells them that they should get their drivers licenses in another town, except for April, who is at the right age to apply for one. He says that Jason should also be fitted for contacts in another town as there is unlikely an optometrist in Grove City and, if so, descriptions could get around quickly. George asks for more information on Mike Vamp. Tom describes him as someone who follows the scent of blood and is highly professional. Tom asks if any relatives were left in Virginia. Liz mentions her mother Lorelei who turned down the offer to join them. George believes that Lorelei still has not.....
