Summary

Chapter 15. April and Lorelei begin the trip back to Florida. April is surprised by her grandmother choices when she is packing as she doesn’t take her expensive clothes, or the trinkets that she has collected. Instead she takes sentimental items. She has also taken Porky out of the kennel where he was boarded and plans to bring him to Florida too. As they leave the condos April is struck by the feeling that someone is following them.

They stop for the night at a motel and Porky barks at a parked black Camaro. April falls asleep after taking a shower but is abruptly awoken in the middle of the night. She thinks that someone is trying to get into their room. She locks the deadbolt and opens the curtains to look, but doesn’t see anyone. The next morning she checks at the front...
