Dog Man

Dog Man is the main character of this series. He was created in the first novel of the series when a cop and his dog were injured in an explosion. When a doctor announced that the cop's head and the dog's body were dying, a nurse came up with the plan to put the dog's head on the cop's body, creating Dog Man. Dog Man is a super crime fighter and the Chief calls on him for the toughest cases. Dog Man always succeeds, though this usually occurs through sheer luck, because the bad guys are idiots, or because some other character helps him. While he is loyal and brave, he also has bad habits, such as when he jumps on the Chief or tears up important things. He does not have the ability to speak other than to bark or growl.
