Chapters 20-22 Summary

In Chapter 20, Adiel keeps her eyes shut tightly as she listens to the fighting. She opens them when she feels human hands gripping her. It's Solomon. Rose is there as well. They realize that the Doctor is still down there.

The Doctor keeps the Valnaxi talking. He asks why they needed Solomon after they already have DNA. He realizes that they didn't get enough. Next, he wonders why they had to take Rose as well. They answer him by saying that since they didn't become Wurms, they had to find a way to reproduce. They feel that they can improve on humans in the future. The Doctor tells them that humans are not just clays to mold. The magma form comes close to him, he climbs up the rock. The Valnaxi tell him that he can't escape, and he tries to...
