Chapter 15-19 Summary

In Chapter 15, a wurm soldier is moving across the battleground. Rose, the Doctor, and Fynn have to hold hands around it to shield it. While Fynn and Rose have to hold hands, she can't even get herself to look at him. She doesn't understand how he could do what he did. The Doctor tries to liven things up with some conversation. He asks Fynn about his experiments. Fynn responds that the genetic structures of fungus and of humans are not compatible. The Doctor thinks this might be their only chance. The Doctor wonders why the guardians pick humans like Solomon, and Rose suggests that it might be to get him back for bringing down the roof on the golden plaque.

One of the guardians comes straight at them, and Rose holds her hands away, breaking the circle. The gold hits her...
