Chapter 20, Slave Time Summary

Bond went to Pleydell-Smith the moment he landed on Jamaica. Pleydell-Smith got Bond medical care and then arranged a meeting between Bond and the local officials. Bond also sent off a message to M, telling him about the assignment and also making a cheeky comment about the ineffectiveness of the guns M forced him to take on. At the meeting, Bond tells his story to the officials and it is decided that the local police and military will take a team to Crab Key and round up Doctor No's remaining workers, effectively shutting down the entire operation. Bond is supposed to return to the hospital that night, but instead he decides to have dinner with Honey, who is waiting for her in the remains of her family's house.
