Chapter 20, Slave Time Summary

Bond went to Pleydell-Smith the moment he landed on Jamaica. Pleydell-Smith got Bond medical care and then arranged a meeting between Bond and the local officials. Bond also sent off a message to M, telling him about the assignment and also making a cheeky comment about the ineffectiveness of the guns M forced him to take on. At the meeting, Bond tells his story to the officials and it is decided that the local police and military will take a team to Crab Key and round up Doctor No's remaining workers, effectively shutting down the entire operation.
