Chapter 16, Horizons of Agony Summary

Dinner is served. In order to show they are unconcerned, Bond and Honey flirt through dinner like lovers on a date. Bond manages to steal a knife off the table by distracting Doctor No and his bodyguards by spilling his drink. Bond later takes a lighter and hides it in his sleeve. When dinner is over, Doctor No tells Bond he will not accept his offer. Doctor No tells Bond that he has a weapon system that allows him to control the missiles that are fired from a nearby American test facility and that one day soon he will be able to make one of those missiles land on an enemy of America's and begin a new war.
