Chapter 6, The Finger on the Trigger Summary

Bond goes to lunch with Pleydell-Smith where he warns him that his secretary is more than likely an agent of Doctor No's. Afterward, Bond goes to the Institute in order to look at a map of Crab Key. There is little to the map since the island is made up mostly of a large mountain of rock. Bond memorizes what he can and leaves. Bond then returns to his room where he finds that a messenger has delivered a basket of fruit to his room. Bond is immediately suspicious and quickly checks his room for bugs and his weapon for any kind of tampering. When Bond finds everything as it should be, he begins to take a closer look at the fruit. Within minutes, Bond finds puncture.....
