Chapter 4, Reception Committee Summary

Bond arrives in Jamaica and is met at the airport by an old friend, Quarrel. As Bond and Quarrel make their way out of the airport, Bond's picture is taken by a young woman who says she works for the local paper, the Daily Gleaner. When the woman begins asking Bond questions, such as where he is staying, he becomes suspicious that she is working for someone other than the paper. Bond and Quarrel get into their car, which turns out to be Strangeways car, and make their way into town. Bond immediately begins to suspect they are being followed. Bond has Quarrel pull over and turn out the lights in order to lose their tail.

Quarrel takes Bond to his hotel where he relaxes before meeting Quarrel again for dinner. Over.....
