Summary

In the car on the way back to the mediation center, Louise told Sanders that harassment was a power issue, not a gender issue. She said statistics showed that women harassed men in the same proportions, there just were not as many female executives.

Louise also told Sanders that she believed with the recording of the incident, they could wrap up the mediation in their favor. Before Louise could tell Murphy about the tape, however, Meredith made a statement indicating that she believed she had misunderstood what Sanders wanted in their meeting. As Meredith talked, Sanders could tell Meredith and her lawyers had planned this “impromptu” statement. He thought it meant they knew about the tape but was not sure how they could know. When Sanders saw Blackburn rubbing his phone, he realized that Blackburn had probably had Bosak look through Sanders...
