Summary

It began raining after lunch. On breaks, Paige complained with Jackie about their office-wide competition. Paige invited Jackie to go to the nursery with her later. Jackie agreed.

There occurs a page break. Paige and Jackie sat in the car with Paige’s new plant purchases. Jackie asked if Paige thought it “a bad sign” that Lukas did not pair them together for the competition (77). Paige chose not to answer.
