Summary

The short story "I Will Follow You," is narrated in the first person, past tense, by Savvie, a college-aged girl from California who has an extremely close relationship with her sister, Carolina.

When the story opens, Carolina had decided it was time to go back to her estranged husband, Darryl. Darryl had decided to leave for Reno some time before the story opened, but Carolina had refused to go with him because Savvie had refused to come with them. One night, Savvie was laying in bed with her boyfriend, Spenser, when Carolina came in and told Savvie it was time for them to go.
