Summary

Part five, “Eat Me”, begins with Calliope House being evacuated because of a bomb threat against one of their neighbors. The residents explained to Plum that this was a common occurrence. Verena gave Plum a salary to live in Calliope House and make food for the women living there. Plum prepared high-calorie foods such as waffles, pancakes, and cake and she consumed large portions, no longer restricting herself.

Every morning, the women were woken by the sounds of misogynistic music to remind them of their purpose.
