Summary

Greg’s diary begins with an entry on a Monday in January. It is remarkably hot for January, which triggers Greg’s fears about global warming. Greg fears that, if the patterns of global warming continue, he will have to ride a camel to school. In the past, Greg has voiced his concerns to his parents, who are not worried about it. Greg feels that the solution to the problem will be through superior technology. Greg has been struggling at school, where the heater is still on despite the already-hot weather.
