Chapters 21-33 Summary

Chapter 21. Aubrey struggles with his feelings for Jessica and the danger she is in. Aubrey tries to argue on Jessica's defense to Fala, but Fala is not buying any of it.

Chapter 22. Jessica goes home with Hasana and Caryn against her will, especially unhappy when she finds vampire hunter Dominique Vida there. After sleeping and again dreaming about Jazlyn, this time learning that Jazlyn allowed Seite to turn her because she was pregnant.

Chapter 23. Jessica asks Caryn who Monica Smoke was. When she learns Monica was Hasana's sister, Jessica questions Hasana about Monica and Jazlyn. Hasana admits that Monica did want to turn Jazlyn human again, but she died attempting it. With this information, Jessica begins a new novel.

Chapter 24. Jessica argues with Dominique and Hasana when she decides to leave the house.
