Baalboden

Baalboden is a city-state founded by Commander Jason Chase. Within the walls of the city-state citizens are protected from the Cursed Ones, the creatures whose release from the earth fifty years before caused the mass destruction of modern society. Baalboden is a dystopian society, a society where the Commander has imposed so many rules on his citizens that many live in fear. Logan’s mother was beaten to death simply because she went alone to the Lower Market to buy her child some food. Talk of a rebellion has begun in secrecy, and Logan has somehow become a candidate to lead.
