Summary

Chapter 12

Logan is deeply angry with Rachel. They argue as they make their way through the city back to Logan’s cottage. Rachel attempts to run away again when they reach the cottage, but Logan finally calms her when he admits that he has been working on a device to track Jared all along.

Chapter 13

Logan describes the device to Rachel, finally convincing her that they have to do this carefully, to make a plan and stick with it.

Chapter 14

Several days pass. Logan has identified one of the trackers the Commander has tasked with following Logan and Rachel and monitoring their movements. Logan needs to gather more information before leaving to find Jared, so he insists Rachel stay with Oliver for the day, something she strongly resists. After some argument, Rachel finally agrees.
