Summary

In Chapter 25, “Let it all Out,” Kiera is leaving school early to go on a family trip. Oscar is not trying to befriend Kiera and makes a snide comment that hints he wants her to leave immediately. Sweet Pea tries to put an end to that awkward situation by asking Greg about his summer plans. Cooper clearly wants to have Greg's full attention and Kiera makes a comment about all the “cow poop on your parents' farm” (197). Oscar surprises them all by complimenting Kiera on that comeback. Sweet Pea silently recounts a quote from Cliff Van Warren about common enemies being “the great unifier” (197).
