Summary

Edward and Shay continue to secretly read the letters. Edward thinks about the many requests made in the letters, and he begins to wonder if there is anything he should do to honor his brother. One day, Edward and Shay read a letter from Jax Lassio—Mark Lassio’s brother. Jax says that Mark’s will left all of Mark’s money to Jax, but Jax does not want it. Thus, Jax has enclosed a check for the entire amount: $7,300,000. Edward and Shay are shocked, and they wonder if Edward should accept the money or not.
