Chapter 26-29 Summary

In chapter twenty-six, Rachel begins waking up and Nick has her home already and is explaining to Ivy and Matalina what has happened. Rachel is not lucid and has lost a lot of blood. Ivy says Rachel stinks of infection. Matalina suggest they take her to a hospital, but Rachel is lucid enough to refuse this, explaining that if she goes in then she won't be coming out. Matalina goes to get Keasley from next door. Jenks arrives and is outraged that Nick let the demon take them home. When Keasley arrives, Ivy goes to let him in and she tells Rachel to stay put. Rachel agrees but wonders if she could make it to the kitchen if she tried hard enough.
