Bon Temps

Bon Temps, Louisiana is home to Sookie Stackhouse and the majority of the characters in the story. Bon Temps is a small town where everyone knows everyone and their business. It is unusually accepting of unique characters like Sookie and her supernatural friends.

Bon Temps, a town filled with a great deal of history and Southern charm, is a tourist spot for the curious. Bon Temps is a community full of hard working people, many of which are farmers. The citizens put a great deal of stock into work ethic. As with most small towns, there is a great deal of gossip in the town, particularly when it comes to the rumor that Jannalynn had run off to Alaska, leaving Sam behind.

Bon Temps is located a short distance from Shreveport, where many of the supernatural characters reside, including Eric and Pam.
