Summary

Chapter 17

Amelia visits Sookie in the hospital. Amelia blames herself for the trouble her father has caused but Sookie assures Amelia that she is not to blame. Amelia says that no one has seen her father, Mr. Cataliades or Diantha.

Sookie learns that during the night Bill had visited her. He left a note. The note explained the events of the night Horst tried to get to Sookie.

Sookie is released from the hospital. Friends have cleaned up the mess left by the shooting. Several people come to visit.

Bill comes to Sookie’s door and tells her about the deal made between Sam and Eric.

Sookie is furious. She calls Sam and demands that he come out to her house immediately. Sam makes excuses but Sookie makes her demand and then hangs up. Sam arrives 30 minutes later. Eric begins to give...
