Summary

Chapter 11

Sam tells Sookie not to come to work that day. Sookie prepares for the arrival of her guests which include Mr. Cataliades, Diantha, Amelia, Bob, and Barry. Sookie is surprised to see Barry. Sookie struggles with the fact that she had not parted on the best of terms with Amelia and Barry and hoped that the situation would not be too awkward.

Sookie had almost forgotten that Barry was a fellow telepath until she found herself communicating with him without using actual words. Sookie could tell immediately that Amelia was sorry for their past troubles and wanted to make up for them. Perhaps the most awkward interaction came with Mr. Cataliades, the nearly all-demon lawyer.

Sookie realizes almost immediately that Amelia is pregnant and lets the cat out of the bag. Amelia and Bob are thrilled.

Barry and Sookie play catch up...
