Summary

Chapter 6

Sookie meets Karin. Karin has been put on guard to protect Sookie. Sookie observes that Karin is a lot like her in the looks department, although Karin seems to be much colder in her personality.

Sookie spends time worrying about the state of affairs and tries to avoid the feeling that something bad is going to happen.

Sookie goes to work and meets up with Sam. Sam discovers Arlene’s lifeless body in the Dumpster behind Merlotte’s. Sookie calls the police. The morning and early afternoon are taken up by crime scene investigators. Sam and Sookie are baffled by this turn of events. The day seems as if it cannot get worse.
