Chapters 10 through 12 Summary

The person who grabbed Tianna turns out to be Jimena, who asks why Tianna seems frightened, but she refuses to tell her anything. The empty storefront hides a performance bar in the back, where Serena is reciting poetry. Tianna protests when Jimena offers to buy her a mocha, but Jimena insists, saying it is clear that Tianna is on the run. As they leave the bar, Jimena and Serena continue to press Tianna for information, but she says nothing. Tianna wishes they would leave her alone and when Jimena suddenly seems to go into a trance, Tianna worries that she has hurt her with her thoughts, but Jimena soon snaps out of it. Tianna is convinced that the other girls are witches, but she agrees to let them take her home.

In Chapter 11, Tianna is unable to locate the apartment building...
