Chapter 15 Summary

Suze's spirit emerges out of her body and she see herself lying on the Mission floor. Father Dom says she has 30 minutes and gives her his watch so she can tell time. Suze climbs into the hole in the ceiling, but before she can go, Jack runs into the Mission dragging the rope he insists Suze has to take with her. When Suze continues into the hole, all she sees is darkness and fog. She calls Jesse's name and a gladiator appears. He says he's the gatekeeper, but when Suze says she's a mediator and describes Jesse, he allows her to pass.

As she walks into the darkness, a corridor appears. Jesse starts walking toward her. At first, he thinks Suze is dead. Then, she explains why she's there. They follow the rope back to the hole, but when they get there the...
