Chapter 2 Summary

Suze reacts very calmly to Jack's news, which surprises him. Suze explains that she sees dead people too and it's called being a mediator. She explains to Jack that their job is to help them clear up a problem they had on Earth so they can get to heaven. Suze thinks she has only met one other person with the same ability. He is the priest and principal of her private school.

Suze gets Jack to go back so they can talk to Jorge. They find out that his sister has stolen his mother's rosary, which has been saved for his oldest daughter. Suze explains to Jack that all they have to do is get Jorge's sister to return the rosary to Jorge's daughter and Jorge can move on.
