The Gunslinger

The gunslinger is a tall, stolid man. His face is weathered and time worn. He carries two guns at his side. They are the guns of his father. The gunslinger is not from the land he now inhabits. His own world has "moved on," and he is now is this new world for the sole purpose of finding a man. The gunslinger is the last of his breed. He is an adventurer and one of a long-gone noble race of men who kept the peace in their land. In his youth, before the world moved on, he was known as Roland Deschain. His father was a gunslinger and so Ronald and others like him were also trained to be gunslingers. The world of his youth has ended, due an enchanter's betrayal of his father.....
