Summary

In Chapter 11, Jason feels revolted as he walks around a version of Chicago that looks like his, but all of the street names are wrong. They have visited four versions of Chicago that have all been almost right. Jason and Amanda stay in a hotel—the same one in which Jason rented a room when he first arrived in Jason2’s version of Chicago. They clean themselves up and go out to eat. On the way back from the restaurant, they stop at the Village Tap for a nightcap. Jason recognizes the bartender but he does not recognize Jason.

That night, Amanda crawls into bed next to Jason. She tells him that he is a better man than Jason2. Even though Jason does not want her to, he tells Amanda that he needs for her to get back into her own bed.
