Chapter 15 Summary

The next picture in Daniel's hand is of an American soldier, smiling at the camera with his white teeth gleaming.

The night of the uprising, Father and Daniel slept in the hospital complex. There was evidence of the medical experiment horrors everywhere. Body parts floated in bottles, execution needles were filled and waiting to be used, and there were organized charts showing the results of the experiments.

At the hospital, Father took a shower, and they disinfected his wound and wrapped it in clean gauze. It was just a flesh wound. Father advised Daniel to not eat too much, or he would become ill after the meagre food they were used to consuming. Daniel saw himself in a mirror and felt like he was looking at a stranger.
