Chapter 24: Welcome to Schwenksville - Chapter 26: Dog Days Summary

D.J. has her heart set on impressing Brian with her new haircut and news of trying out for football when they get together for their final training session on Friday, but he calls and say he is going with his parents to a lake cabin for the weekend instead. He invites D.J., but she can't go because of her responsibilities on the farm. It breaks D.J.'s heart but she reverts to her old ways and acts like it's not a big deal.
