Summary

In Chapter 4, because Harrus took over Jared’s position as governor, the family was forced to move to the capital. Coriane missed the country estate, where she had a garage full of tools and machines with which she could tinker. SHe began sneaking out of the house. She looked for a place that she might feel like herself but instead ran into Prince Tiberias. They met first on the bridge that spanned the Capital River. The first time he has asked her to walk with him and held out his arm, Coriane believed it would be the last time. A few weeks later, however, he asked her to call him Tibe, a family nickname.
