Part 3: Chapters 13-15 Summary

In Chapter 13, Luke loses his job because of lies Sally tells her parents. This leaves the Morrison children with no income except what is left of their father's money. Back in the present, Katie spends the afternoon with Daniel, as well as dinner with him and his parents. Katie can see from Daniel's attitude that he has seen the invitation. Unwilling to lose her lover over something so trivial, Katie decides to invite him to the party with her.
