Book One: Chapters 11- 20 Summary

Kathleen introduces herself to Anne and Anne is transfixed by Kathleen's face. Kathleen does not appear to be a troubled teenager who would be involved with the wrong crowd or be likely to find herself with an unintended pregnancy. Kathleen is willing to speak with Anne and answer the majority of Anne's questions. Anne has candid discussions with Kathleen about the suicide attempt and the origin of her pregnancy.
