Book One: Chapters 1-2 Summary

Cradle and All is a medical thriller. It revolves around three women. All three are single and not involved in a romantic relationship. Additionally, all three women are virgins. The premise behind the story is the fulfillment of a Catholic church prophecy. The prophecy predicts that there will be two virgin births. One baby will be the savior, and the other will be the son of Satan. These births have the potential to affect the world and all of its inhabitants.

The prologue introduces the reader to the first virgin, sixteen-year-old Kathleen Beavier, who has traveled to Boston, Massachusetts to seek an abortion of the baby she has conceived.
