Point of View

Court of Frost and Starlight is divided into chapters from the perspectives of five different characters – Feyre, Rhysand, Mor, Cassian, and Nesta. Typically, a chapter appears from the perspective of one character and changes to another in the next chapter. There are a few exceptions. Chapter 21 opens from Cassian's perspective, then changes to Nesta's. Chapters 27 and 28 are both from Feyre's perspective. In an interesting choice, the author presents the chapters from Feyre's and Rhysand's perspective in first- person, but all other chapters are in third-person. There does not seem to be an obvious explanation for this.

The limited perspective typically mean the reader does not know what other characters are thinking, unless those characters reveal their thoughts.
