Summary

Caroline’s parents never talk about the time they spent in the snow globe. Caroline believes they might have no idea they have lost two days. As for the marbles, Caroline put them under her pillow. When she returns to bed after seeing the other mother’s hand, she hears a crunch from under the pillow and notices the marbles have shattered, like small birds’ eggs. When Coraline visits Miss Spink and Miss Forcible, they read her tea leaves, saying it appears her danger is past.
