Summary

Coraline wakes up in her bed in her other bedroom, not sure where she is or who she is for just a minute. She looks in her closet for clothes, but finds nothing but costumes. When she locates a dresses in a pair of black jeans and sweater, then puts the stone with the hole in her jeans pocket, her head seems to clear. She can’t find her other mother. Her other father says she’s out fixing gates and doors to keep the cat out. He says he’s not supposed to talk to Coraline while the other mother is gone, but does let it slip that it was she who created the other world.
