Chapter 11 Summary

Paris does like her personal time to relax. She loves to cook (especially pasta for friends) and also loves not having to clean up after herself. She likes to visit Palm Springs to relax and visit with family. Other relaxation techniques for Paris include baths with different types of bath products and listening to music. One of her favorite types of relaxation music is classical. As far as music idols go, though, she prefers Madonna, as well as Blondie. Paris also enjoys reading books and magazines.

Chapter 11 Analysis

Reading classics like "The Great Gatsby" and listening to classical music are not activities most people would necessarily associate with Paris Hilton. This surprising revelation does add a layer of complexity to Paris' seemingly simple personality. It also makes one wonder whether her "ditsy" TV personality is real or contrived.
