Chapters 11-15 Summary

Becky rushes from the office and runs into Luke Brandon. Becky tells Luke that she is thinking about a career change and heads off, only to be called back by Luke who asks if Becky can spare some time shopping.

Becky and Luke have a wonderful afternoon, enjoying each other's company while picking out luggage at Harrod's. Becky has never considered shopping for luggage and enjoys the experience immensely. After shopping, Luke invites Becky to lunch and the enjoyable afternoon continues until Luke mentions that the luggage is for his girlfriend, Sacha.

Becky is mortified, angry at Luke for not being up front with her about the purchase. Luke tries to smooth things over, but Becky feels as if Luke is patronizing her. Becky leaves, telling Luke that friends respect each other and don't look down on one another.
