Holly leaves the area, unwilling to even return to the windmill for the time being. She leaves the remainder of their belongings behind and heads for Santa Monica. All Holly wants now is to be somewhere that has no memories for either of them. Jim sleeps in the seat beside her, worn out, and in a state not that unlike a chrysalis.
