Chapters 37-40 Summary

Chapter 37. Molly establishes that Dresden knows that pursuing the Redcap is a trap. Dresden plans to go in the front door as a distraction, with Molly sneaking in the back with Mouse to release their friends. Dresden notices the warehouse is familiar. He approaches the front door, and is attacked by a Sidhe in hawk form. Then he is darted in the leg by the Redcap, who then disappears. Dresden goes in to find his friends. All of them have been bound except Mac, which Dresden and Molly both notice but don't acknowledge out loud. Dresden is bleeding freely from his poisoned wound. Suddenly, the building explodes and they are all thrown into Lake Michigan.

Chapter 38. Underwater, Dresden uses the power of Winter to lift the building with ice, saving them all. They return to Molly's apartment to find Thomas and...
