Summary

In the Prologue, Shadowhunter Will Herondale arrives at a cemetery. He can hear the voices of the dead, though not all Shadowhunters can. Will talks with Old Molly, a dead woman who deals in items from the Downworld. Will makes a deal for a demon powder, then asks Molly if she has the opposite of a love potion. He says he needs that to create an attitude of indifference for himself.
